How to Start/Stop Peer Networking Identity Manager

Service name: p2pimsvc

Display name: Peer Networking Identity Manager


Description:

Provides identity services for the Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRP) and Peer-to-Peer Grouping services.  If disabled, the Peer
Name Resolution Protocol (PNRP) and Peer-to-Peer Grouping services may not function, and some applications, such as HomeGroup
and Remote Assistance, may not function correctly.

Path to executable:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k LocalServicePeerNet

Locate Peer Networking Identity Manager service observe his current status and open to make changes

From General tab you can Start/Stop and change the Startup type of Peer Networking Identity Manager service

To finish press ok button and close Services window
