How to Start/Stop Network Location Awareness service
Service name: NlaSvc
Display name: Network Location Awareness
Collects and stores configuration information for the network and notifies programs when this information is modified.
If this service is stopped, configuration information might be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on
it will fail to start.

This method shows you how to Start/Stop Network Location Awareness service from starting with the operating system using System Configuration
Please perform the following steps:
Please go to Start and click on the Search programs and files
Type msconfig and press Enter
In System Configuration please go to Services tab and locate Network Location Awareness service
Uncheck the box to prevent this service to start and then press OK to finish
Any change make in System Configuration will be apply after restart
