How to Start/Stop Microsoft iSCSI Initiator Service

Service name: MSiSCSI

Display name: Microsoft iSCSI Initiator Service


Description:

Manages Internet SCSI (iSCSI) sessions from this computer to remote iSCSI target devices. If this service is stopped, this computer will
not be able to login or access iSCSI targets. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.


Path to executable:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs -p

Please go to Start and click on the Type here to search

Locate Microsoft iSCSI Initiator Service service observe his current status and open to make changes

From General tab you can Start/Stop and change the Startup type of Microsoft iSCSI Initiator Service service

To finish press ok button and close Services window
