How to Start/Stop Distributed Transaction Coordinator service

Display name: Distributed Transaction Coordinator


Description:

Coordinates transactions that span multiple resource managers, such as databases, message queues, and file systems. If this service
is stopped, these transactions will fail. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.



Path to executable:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\msdtc.exe

Locate Distributed Transaction Coordinator service observe his current status and open to make changes

From General tab you can Start/Stop and change the Startup type of Distributed Transaction Coordinator service

To finish press ok button and close Services window
